April 24, 1946 - May 30, 2009

Our hearts are saddened because we have lost our great friend but heaven is rejoicing! Larry's talent went far beyond just "playing" the piano. He was a musician extraordinaire. His music and life touched thousands of people and that music will live on forever.

Steinway Initiative:

In recent months, Larry spent a great deal of time working with the ORU music department to help raise funds for a project close to his heart: the Steinway Initiative. Larry shared our desire to make more Steinway pianos available for the training of ORU music students.
